The second movie we watched this evening was Jarhead. Now this was one movie that whose trailer was very deceiving. If you were looking for an action packed war movie Jarhead is not it. It was a great movie from almost a documentary point of view. This movie may have been very true to life but there was no intricate plot. In Jarhead you are simply following a young Marine from bootcamp through sniper school and into the first Gulf war. This young Jarhead (slang for Marine) never did see any action, so neither did we. This movie was very slow. This movie was only "ok" nothing extra. I would encourage you to watch Jarhead when it comes out on video.
